Amazon's new Alexa Tablet 12 Pro replaces the Fire HD 10 as its top-tier tablet, featuring a nanomatte display, MediaTek Dimensity 8400 processor, and up to 16GB RAM. While the Fire HD 10 ($155 base model) uses a MediaTek Helios chip and 4GB RAM, it's adequate for videos and books but lacks productivity capabilities. The 12-inch Alexa Tablet 12 Pro offers an aluminum build and dual display options, plus a software overhaul with Google Play Store integration and Alexa+ AI features.
New 'Kindle mode' enhances reading experience across all new Amazon tablets, preserving 'the sanctuary of reading.'.
