Wacom One 14 Review: Quality pen display struggles in crowded market

The Wacom One 14 pen display offers solid hardware but faces stiff competition in 2025's crowded market. As a professional digital illustrator with 15+ years of experience, I've watched Wacom transition from the industry standard to one of many viable options.

Once the definitive choice for pen displays, Wacom now competes with manufacturers like Huion and Xencelabs that have matched and exceeded its quality. The 14-inch display features a 1920x1080 resolution, 285cd/m2 brightness, and 4096 levels of pen pressure sensitivity. The package includes the Wacom One 14 Standard Pen, USB-C cable, and essential accessories.

The display delivers excellent line quality and responsiveness with no noticeable cursor drift. Drawing feels remarkably close to paper thanks to the textured surface, and the pen's lightweight, pencil-like design is comfortable for extended use. Setup is straightforward, with the display appearing as a third monitor on Mac systems. However, the lack of angle adjustment remains a significant drawback, requiring creative solutions like propping the display for comfortable drawing sessions.
