Hikawa Grip Launches Globally at Lower Price

Apple has expanded the availability of the Hikawa Grip & Stand for iPhone, bringing the accessibility-focused accessory to a global audience at a new lower price point. Originally launched in November 2025 as a limited-edition collaboration between Bailey Hikawa and PopSockets, the oversized MagSafe grip designed for users with disabilities affecting grip strength and mobility is now available in three new colors through the Apple Store online.

Unlike conventional phone accessories, the Hikawa Grip & Stand features large sculpted curves that make it more resemble adaptive hardware than typical iPhone add-ons. The design emerged from extensive interviews with users who need different ways of holding their devices, supporting various positions while reducing the effort needed to maintain a steady grip. The accessory is now positioned as part of Apple's broader accessibility ecosystem.

Available in Glow Blue, Orange Swirl, and Speckled Stone for $54.95, the grip addresses criticism from its initial limited-edition release when customers questioned why an accessibility-focused product would be sold as a short-run collaboration. Apple folded the Hikawa accessory into their OS 27 accessibility updates alongside features like generated video subtitles and wheelchair controls for Vision Pro, demonstrating the company's commitment to inclusive design.
