Apple CEO Tim Cook has traveled to Beijing as part of a US business delegation accompanying President Donald Trump. Unlike previous visits, Cook is representing himself rather than Apple, joining approximately a dozen senior American business leaders invited by Trump. Cook was spotted at China's welcoming ceremony at the Great Hall of the People.

This marks Trump's first visit to China as a sitting US president in nine years, aimed at discussing business deals, trade, exports, AI, and the conflict with Iran. The delegation includes executives from major corporations like Tesla, Boeing, and BlackRock. Cook's presence follows a history of the CEO working to maintain positive relations with Trump.

Cook and Musk were seen walking together during the visit, despite previous tensions between the two tech leaders. The visit comes amid complex US-China relations and may serve as mediation between Trump and Musk, who have also clashed publicly. Cook's participation appears aimed at maintaining Apple's access to the crucial Chinese market.
