Alogic's 32-inch 4K touchscreen monitor docks your Mac mini

Accessory maker Alogic has launched a 32-inch 4K touchscreen monitor called the Aspekt Touch. Its standout feature is an integrated dock for the M4 Mac mini, creating a clean, all-in-one setup similar to an iMac. The display sits on an articulated arm, allowing it to be repositioned for drawing or viewing, much like Microsoft's Surface Studio.

The monitor offers standard 4K specs: a 16:9 aspect ratio, 400-nit brightness, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. For creatives, it covers 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color gamuts. It supports 10-point multi-touch and boasts 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, making it viable for digital art and document markup. The pixel density is 137 PPI, falling short of Apple's Retina displays.

Connectivity is robust but ambiguous. It includes HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C for video, plus two USB-C, two USB-A, a gigabit Ethernet port, and a headphone jack. A 90W USB-C port can charge a MacBook. However, Alogic hasn't specified USB data speeds, and the lack of Thunderbolt ports is a notable omission for a professional display. Pricing starts at $1,844.99.
