Motorola Moto Buds 2 Plus Leaked: Design Changes and Bose Audio

Leaked images suggest Motorola is preparing the Moto Buds 2 Plus, a follow-up to its 2024 Buds Plus model. Tipster Evan Blass posted alleged renderings showing a redesigned charging case where the buds stand upright rather than lying flat. The images also reveal a repositioned stem design and potential Sound by Bose branding, along with a blue and white color scheme.

The design tweaks appear minimal, with the main body retaining its stem stabilizer but shifting the stem position to the side. A notable change involves the charging connectors, which have moved from the main body to the bottom of the stem—similar to Samsung's Galaxy Buds 8 series. The case reportedly features a secondary blue color inside.

Motorola's earbud lineup has been active recently, with the Buds Bass launching in November 2025 and the original Buds Plus arriving in April 2024. The Buds Plus featured 12.4mm drivers, Hi-Res Audio, and active noise cancellation through a Bose partnership. Given this timeline, the Buds 2 Plus could debut in April 2025, though Motorola hasn't confirmed any details or specifications for the upcoming model.

Quick Fact: The original Moto Buds Plus launched in April 2024 with Bose-powered ANC and 12.4mm drivers.
