WhatsApp is testing a new design for its chat bubbles on iOS, following the recent rollout of its Liquid Glass redesign. The updated bubbles feature significantly more rounded corners, giving them a softer shape and a look closer to iMessage.

This change, first hinted at in the app's code by WABeta Info, is now appearing for select users on the latest Test Flight build. In addition to the rounded corners, the new design also alters how media and links are displayed, removing the green outline for a cleaner appearance.

WABeta Info reported on the visual differences, showing the old design with defined outlines and the new version with smoother, more rounded edges. While the update aligns with the Liquid Glass interface, there is currently no timeline for a wider public release on iOS.
