Apple Vision Pro’s next major software update is here. visionOS 27 is rolling out now to all Vision Pro models, here’s what’s new. It’s compatible with the original M2 Vision Pro and the M5 model.

New features include Siri AI and the Siri app, unlocking powerful voice-first computing. A new Thórsmörk built-in Environment, turn panoramas into spatial scenes and use as an Environment. Visual Intelligence lets you ask Siri about anything you’re looking at. Extra-small widgets, high quality screen recording with no blurring, new AI features in Home app, Safari, Image Playground, and more. Windows with curvature, expand notifications with your eyes, redesigned Control Center. Accessibility features: Wheelchair control and Vehicle Motion Cues.

Siri AI will no doubt be the biggest highlight for most users. I’ve long felt that spatial computing could benefit significantly from a more powerful Siri, and visionOS 27 delivers that. One nice benefit of Siri AI in visionOS is that it’s rolling out in the EU too. So EU users who won’t get the new Siri yet on iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch can still experience it on Vision Pro.
