Qobuz has released a new CarPlay app, bringing its high-resolution audio streaming service to Apple's in-car interface. The French music service positions itself as a premium alternative to mainstream platforms like Apple Music and Spotify, focusing on audiophile-quality sound and downloadable high-res music for discerning listeners.

The new app offers a redesigned interface with features like shuffle toggle, full album access during playback, editorial recommendations, genre filtering, one-tap favorites, and alphabetical sorting. Most importantly, Siri integration now allows voice commands such as "Hey Siri, play Coldplay on Qobuz" thanks to Apple's SiriKit audio APIs introduced with iOS 13 back in 2019.

Available as a free download on the App Store, Qobuz costs $12.99 per month for streaming access, plus it offers a downloadable music store. The company describes the new CarPlay experience as "sleeker, more intuitive, and far more powerful" than previous versions, highlighting its commitment to delivering high-quality audio experiences across Apple platforms.
