Notion has launched a new iPhone application named Agents, replacing its previous email app, Notion Mail. This new app allows users to interact with their Notion workspace and connected tools through a chat interface.

Agents can answer questions using data from Notion documents, databases, and projects. It supports capturing ideas via text, voice, or photos, with the app automatically organizing the input. Users can also perform quick actions like creating pages or drafting updates directly from the chat.

The application leverages AI models from Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and OpenAI (GPT). While currently designed for iPhone, it is functional on iPad and Mac. The launch signifies Notion's move towards integrating AI-powered conversational access to user data across multiple platforms, aiming to streamline information retrieval and task management on mobile devices.
