Apple Arcade has added Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, bringing the popular football game to iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. This version is designed specifically for Apple Arcade, meaning it features no ads and no in-app purchases.

According to Apple, the game offers an immersive, season-based experience with current NFL teams and realistic simulation gameplay. Players can enjoy fan-favorite modes like Franchise and Quick Play, with dynamic player ratings based on real-world performances. Franchise mode allows players to act as a General Manager, navigating narratives and building a championship team.

In addition to Madden, Apple Arcade is also introducing Retro Bowl College+ today and a new season of NFL Retro Bowl ’27 on September 3. Apple is also offering free introductory experiences for select Arcade games, including Power Wash Simulator and Mini Motorways, allowing users to preview titles without a subscription.

Apple Arcade is available for $6.99/month after a free trial, with a single subscription unlocking access for up to five users via Family Sharing. It is also included in all Apple One bundle subscriptions.
