Apple Arcade is set to launch Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition on August 6, just in time for football season. This new title, designed specifically for Apple Arcade, will offer an immersive, season-based experience with current NFL teams and realistic simulation gameplay, completely free of ads and in-app purchases.

"Designed specifically for Apple Arcade, this all-new release in the massively popular franchise lets fans live out their gridiron dreams, offering an immersive season-based experience featuring current NFL teams and realistic simulation gameplay," Apple stated. The game will support controllers across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, and will include fan-favorite modes like Franchise and Quick Play, featuring dynamic player ratings and season-shifting narratives.

In addition to Madden, Apple Arcade is adding Retro Bowl College+ on August 6 and NFL Retro Bowl ’27 on September 3. Apple is also offering free introductory experiences for select Apple Arcade games, such as Power Wash Simulator and Mini Motorways, without requiring a subscription.
