Last year, the iPhone 17 Pro’s Cosmic Orange proved an instant hit, but rumors indicate it is being replaced in the iPhone 18 Pro by a new burgundy. Historically, Apple stuck with muted colors for Pro models, but the company made a pivot toward bolder directions.

Apple is expected to offer three or four colors: Burgundy/Dark Cherry, Light Blue, Silver, and possibly Dark Gray. Among these, the dark cherry/burgundy is expected to be the new flagship focus of Apple’s marketing.

Leaker Fixed Focus Digital reports seeing various versions of the color online, but believes the correct shade is a darker, purple-red variant that resembles cherry. While some reports call the color 'deep red,' the leaker suggests a more purple-tinged cherry is what users will receive.
