Apple prepares to reveal iOS 27 in a few days, and insiders say the update will overhaul the looks and controls of several core apps. The spotlight falls on the Camera and Image Playground, which will receive the most dramatic redesigns.

Mark Gurman reports that Camera will become fully customizable, allowing users to pick which features show and where they sit. A new Siri‑powered visual‑intelligence mode will also appear.

Image Playground gets a complete UI rewrite across iOS, iPadOS and macOS, with a fresh gallery layout and streamlined creation and editing controls.

Other apps will see lighter tweaks: Find My gets new tab‑bar icons; Weather introduces a “Conditions” panel; Safari launches a start page with four top‑tab categories. Minor Liquid Glass changes will merge search back into navigation tabs across the system.
