Grok Bot Gets Its Own Email: How to Claim Yours

Grok Bot has received a second major upgrade this week: its own email address. According to the announcement on X, the bot can use the address to sign up for services, contact businesses on your behalf, or schedule time with someone.

The rollout begins today. To claim an inbox, users can simply ask Bot or tag @bot on X. Prompting Grok Bot with a request like "claim your email address" starts the process through the chat interface. Users can request a custom email, and Grok Bot will check whether it is available. Addresses end with @mail.grokbot.com and are used by the agent system.

The update follows an intelligence upgrade earlier this week, powered by Anthropic's Claude. It also comes as Meta pushes its mostly-free Muse agent, newly available for iPad, and OpenAI builds out ChatGPT Dot, an Astra-powered proactive agent.

Grok Bot is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
