ChatGPT is rolling out a deeper integration with Google Drive, allowing paid subscribers to add and edit files directly within the chat interface. This new feature, announced by ChatGPT Consumer Product Lead Adam Fry, enables users to access their Google Drive documents, such as Google Docs and Sheets, without leaving the chat window.

Users can add files to their ChatGPT Library by tapping the '+' button next to the prompt field. The integration allows for direct editing of the actual files in Google Drive, rather than creating copies. This update aims to streamline the workflow for ChatGPT subscribers, making it easier to interact with and modify their cloud-based documents.

In addition to the Google Drive integration, ChatGPT also introduced a new quiz tool, allowing users to request quizzes on any topic. This feature generates interactive quizzes with multiple-choice options, navigation, and hints. Other recent additions include Yelp integration for restaurant reservations and waitlists, and improved suggestions on the chatbot's homepage for paid users.
