BenQ has launched the MA270S, a 5K 27-inch glossy monitor that directly challenges Apple's Studio Display at a significantly lower price point. Priced at $999, this Thunderbolt 4 display offers Mac users a glossy alternative to BenQ's existing matte 5K options, delivering Mac-level color accuracy and seamless integration with Apple devices.

Featuring a Nano Gloss panel with true 5K resolution (5120×2880), the MA270S matches macOS's native pixel density for sharper text and more vibrant images. The display boasts 500-nit brightness, 99% P3 color gamut, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. With 96W power delivery through a single Thunderbolt cable, it can charge MacBooks while transmitting data and video signals.

The monitor includes practical features like Smart KVM for controlling two systems with one keyboard and mouse, Picture-by-Picture functionality for viewing content from multiple devices, and iKeyboard Control for adjusting settings directly from the MacBook keyboard. Its 150mm adjustable stand and minimalist design align with the Apple ecosystem aesthetic.
