Despite potential annual losses of $1 billion, Apple TV's future is secure under incoming CEO John Ternus. Ternus, set to take over in September, has indicated his commitment to the streaming service's continued growth.

In an interview with Reuters, Ternus expressed enthusiasm for Apple TV's current momentum, citing "so many amazing shows, so many amazing characters and stories." He stated the company will "keep building on the momentum."

Outgoing CEO Tim Cook echoed this sentiment, highlighting the success of the F1 movie and expressing excitement for future content. Services head Eddy Cue also confirmed that "better and more" content is planned for Apple TV, with "Ted Lasso" season 4 premiering soon and "Severance" season 3 teased.
