Apple has removed the waitlist for Siri AI in iOS 27, according to an updated support document. The company now only gates access during "high demand" periods, making it quicker for most users to enable the feature.
Previously, the document stated that tapping "Try Siri AI (Beta)" in Settings would add users to a waitlist with variable wait times. The new text says Siri AI will begin downloading automatically, and a waitlist applies only during times of high demand.
This change comes nearly two months into the iOS 27 rollout. Initially, a waitlist helped Apple manage server load, but the company now deploys it only occasionally as needed.
Have you enabled Siri AI on your iPhone? If not, what's holding you back?
