A Counterpoint Research report reveals that iPhones captured half of the top 10 best-selling smartphones in Q4 2025, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max securing the top position. Apple’s lineup claimed five spots in the rankings, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16e. The iPhone 16 was the only model to appear in the top 10 all year, while Samsung and Xiaomi occupied the remaining positions.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max alone accounted for 5% of global sales, highlighting Apple’s continued dominance in the premium segment. Samsung’s Galaxy A56, A36, A07, and S25 rounded out the list, with Xiaomi’s Redmi A5 at ninth. Counterpoint noted that the top 10 smartphones represented 23% of global sales, underscoring the significance of flagship devices in the market.
