Tito's Burritos & Wings, a North Jersey Mexican restaurant chain, will close all three remaining locations permanently after dinner service on March 1, 2026, ending a 21-year run in the competitive local dining market.

The chain, which first opened in May 2005, built a loyal following over two decades before owners decided to shut down due to declining business. Earlier closures had already occurred at Tenafly and Morristown locations in previous years.

While Tito's joins Mexican chains like Abuelo's and On the Border in closing, the overall industry has maintained growth. Mexican restaurants have increased by 3% annually between 2020 and 2025, reaching 52,024 establishments despite facing rising labor and food costs.
