A celebration of life for Ashley Flynn, the 37-year-old volleyball coach and teacher killed in Tipp City, has been canceled following her husband's arrest. The service, originally scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m. at Christian Life Center, was called off out of respect for the families involved.

The families have requested a private, invitation-only service instead, according to a Facebook post from the church. Flynn was fatally shot in her home on Cunningham Court early Monday morning, prompting an investigation that led to her husband's arrest.

Caleb Flynn, 37, was booked into Miami County Jail on murder charges and pleaded not guilty in a preliminary hearing on Friday. He is being held on a $2 million bond. The cancellation of the public celebration reflects the sensitive nature of the case as the community grapples with the shocking loss of a beloved educator and coach.
