The sexual assault trial against Magna International founder Frank Stronach continues as a fifth woman testified he raped her in a 1990 hotel room, claiming she repeatedly pleaded with him to stop. The 93-year-old auto-parts magnate faces 12 charges including sexual assault and forcible confinement with allegations spanning 1977-1990.

The 71-year-old woman told the court Stronach invited her to his hotel suite after meeting at a restaurant, where he allegedly forced himself on her despite her verbal resistance. Defense attorney Leora Shemesh challenged the woman's credibility by pointing to inconsistencies in her testimony compared to police statements and questioning her legal history.

The ongoing trial represents a significant reputational challenge for Magna International, Canada's largest auto-parts supplier. Stronach founded the company in 1957 and remained chairman until 2010. The case continues with two more complainants expected to testify as the allegations date back to the company's early growth years.
