Primanti Bros. has closed two more restaurants in Central Pennsylvania, marking another contraction for the Pittsburgh-based sandwich chain. The company shuttered locations at Capital City Mall in Camp Hill and Lancaster Shopping Center, both ceasing operations without a specified closure date.

This follows earlier closures in September 2025 of restaurants in Chambersburg and Hanover. The company cited a "detailed review of our portfolio" as the reason for these strategic closures, stating they are "adjusting our overall footprint to best meet demand" while maintaining their commitment to customers.

With these latest closures, only two Primanti Bros. locations remain operational in the region: one in York County and another in Hershey. The closures reflect broader challenges facing casual dining chains as consumer preferences shift and operational costs rise.
