Fox News host Bill O'Reilly argued that Democrats are deliberately stalling federal spending negotiations to weaken immigration enforcement. On his 'No Spin News' program, O'Reilly claimed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries are demanding conditions that would effectively neutralize ICE operations.

O'Reilly specifically cited Democratic demands including judicial warrants for 15 million undocumented immigrants, no-enforcement zones around hospitals and schools, and body cameras on agents. He argued these requirements would make immigration enforcement impossible, noting that masks for ICE agents have already been approved by federal courts in California. The host contended that Democrats want to prevent any enforcement action against migrants.

O'Reilly also challenged Democratic claims that only 14% of detained migrants are violent criminals, calling this statistic 'misleading in the extreme.' He argued the figure excludes drug trafficking, DWI, theft, fraud, and child-related crimes from the violent category. Citing federal government data, O'Reilly stated that 60% of detained undocumented immigrants have committed criminal offenses. He characterized the Democratic position as seeking amnesty for all non-violent offenders, which he termed 'the big lie' being promoted by the party.
