Novo Resources Corp is reporting promising early-stage exploration results at its Wyloo gold–silver–antimony project in Western Australia's southern Pilbara. Executive co-chairman Mike Spreadborough outlined plans to advance the project to drilling after identifying significant mineral anomalies during initial fieldwork.

Exploration manager Kas De Luca revealed that stream sediment sampling identified two coherent antimony anomalies extending for more than two kilometers. Rock chip sampling at the Wyloo Southeast prospect returned impressive results, including 1.29% antimony alongside elevated lead, zinc and gold values.

The team initially targeted antimony but discovered multiple commodities within sulphide-rich vein systems, enhancing the project's potential. These findings position Novo Resources to potentially develop a multi-metal mining operation in the Pilbara region, where critical metals are increasingly valued.

The exploration success comes as the market for critical metals like antimony remains strong. The company's focus on advancing Wyloo to drilling stage represents a strategic move to capitalize on the growing demand for these materials in various industrial applications worldwide.
