Leigh McAlister, a 37-year-old mother from Lexington, South Carolina, was found at an Atlanta hospital after disappearing during a church conference trip. The Cobb County Police Department confirmed her location after she had been missing since February 14, when she was last seen in Midtown Atlanta.

McAlister had traveled approximately 200 miles from her home to attend the conference in Atlanta. Her husband, Rob, reported her missing when he couldn't reach her after she failed to return home as planned. Surveillance footage showed her at a Buckhead Publix supermarket on the day she vanished, and her SUV was later found abandoned at The Battery in Cobb County with her phone and wallet inside.

Police located McAlister at a local hospital, though details about her condition or how she ended up there haven't been released. The couple shares a 4-year-old son together. The case drew significant attention on social media, with authorities initially issuing a 'Be On The Lookout' alert describing her last known clothing - a white sweater, blue jeans, and brown boots.
