About 250,000 protesters gathered in Munich on Saturday to demonstrate against Iran's government, police said, answering exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi's call for international pressure on Tehran. The massive rally coincided with the Munich Security Conference, where world leaders were meeting. Protesters chanted "Change, change, regime change" and waved pre-1979 Iranian flags bearing the lion and sun emblem.

Pahlavi, son of the deposed shah, warned that more deaths would occur in Iran if "democracies stand by and watch" following Tehran's deadly crackdown on protesters last month. The demonstration was part of a "global day of action" that also included rallies in Los Angeles and Toronto, where an estimated 350,000 people marched. Protesters wore "Make Iran Great Again" caps, mimicking U.S. President Donald Trump's signature red hats.

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham addressed the Munich crowd, holding up the red cap while calling for regime change. The protests come as Iranian leaders face renewed pressure from Trump, who has threatened military action and suggested Friday that regime change in Iran "would be the best thing that could happen." Iran's government reported 3,118 deaths during last month's protests, while opposition groups claim the toll was much higher.
