A fishing vessel overturned off Cape Cod Thursday afternoon, leaving one person rescued and another missing, according to the United States Coast Guard. The 38-foot vessel named Yankee Rose capsized approximately three nautical miles northeast of Provincetown's Race Point Beach.

Coast Guard crews from Air Station Cape Cod responded just before noon, recovering one unconscious person from the water. Emergency responders rushed the survivor for treatment. Massachusetts Environmental Police, local police, firefighters, and harbormaster crews joined the search for the second missing crew member.

The Coast Guard continues searching the waters near Provincetown as this incident develops. Authorities have not released additional details about the vessel's origin or what caused the capsizing.
