Actor Robert De Niro warned in an exclusive interview with MS NOW anchor Nicolle Wallace that President Donald Trump will not leave office willingly when his second term ends in 2028. In a clip from the upcoming episode of "The Best People with Nicolle Wallace," De Niro stated bluntly that Trump "will never leave" and that Americans must ensure his departure.

De Niro challenged Wallace's assumption that Trump would be gone in three years, noting the president has repeatedly suggested he might seek a third term despite the 22nd Amendment's prohibition. The actor emphasized that Trump's recent comments about nationalizing elections should be taken seriously, not as jokes. Trump had told former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino in February that Republicans should "take over voting" and "nationalize" elections to gain more control over the voting process.

The "Goodfellas" star urged citizens to organize peacefully to protect election integrity, particularly for the upcoming midterms. De Niro stressed the need for safe polling places with citizen oversight, saying "It's up to the people" to ensure Trump doesn't disrupt the democratic process. The full interview will be available Monday on Wallace's podcast.
