Riverside County, California, and a foster care agency, ChildNet, have reached a $13.5 million settlement with six siblings who suffered abuse in a foster home. The settlement stems from a lawsuit alleging the children were further traumatized after being rescued from their parents, David and Louise Turpin, who were convicted of horrific abuse. The county will pay $2.25 million, and ChildNet will cover the remaining $11.25 million.
