Warren Buffett's final trades as Berkshire Hathaway CEO reveal a shift away from artificial intelligence stocks toward a more traditional investment. The company's latest 13F filing shows Buffett sold portions of Apple and Amazon positions while adding 368,055 shares of Domino's Pizza worth $109 million. This marks Domino's as Berkshire's sole new position in the quarter.

Apple remains Berkshire's largest holding at 19.5% of the portfolio, down significantly from its peak of 50% in recent years. Amazon, always a small position, was further reduced. Buffett maintained Berkshire's stake in Alphabet but pared back other AI-related investments. The moves suggest a strategic pivot toward more stable, dividend-paying companies as Buffett prepares for retirement.

Domino's represents a classic Buffett investment: a market leader with 22,000 global stores and consistent growth. The pizza chain added 392 net new locations in Q4 2025 alone, with global retail sales up 4.9% year-over-year. As a franchise business, Domino's generates high-margin revenue from franchise fees rather than pizza sales. Despite the stock being down 14% over the past year, Buffett's purchase signals confidence in its resilience and leadership position in a recession-resistant industry.
