Bondi 2014 Ad Resurfaces Amid Epstein Hearing Backlash

A decade-old campaign ad from Attorney General Pam Bondi has resurfaced just as she faces intense scrutiny over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. In the 2014 Florida AG campaign video, Bondi pledged to "fight to put human trafficking monsters where they belong, behind bars" while emphasizing tougher penalties and law enforcement cooperation.

The resurfaced footage gained new relevance following Bondi's combative testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, where she clashed with Democratic lawmakers demanding answers about Epstein's co-conspirators. When pressed by Rep. Jerry Nadler about indictments and investigations, Bondi responded defensively, telling lawmakers "I'm gonna answer the question the way I want to answer the question" and dismissing inquiries as "theatrics."

During the hearing, Bondi was observed with what Rep. Jamie Raskin called a "burn book" - a binder containing information to undermine Democratic questioning. The timing of the ad's resurgence has intensified criticism of Bondi's record on human trafficking cases, particularly regarding Epstein and his associates. Her confrontational demeanor during testimony has drawn additional scrutiny to her decade-long tenure as Florida's top prosecutor.
