Aldi has issued a nationwide recall of over 9,000 pounds of frozen meatballs due to potential contamination with metal fragments. The recall affects 32-ounce packages of Bremer Family Style Italian Style Meatballs sold at Aldi locations across the country.

This recall follows a consumer complaint about finding metal fragments in the food product. The affected meatballs have a best-by date of October 30, 2026, with timestamps between 17:08 and 18:20 printed on the back label. Each package contains establishment number "EST. 4286B." While no injuries or illnesses have been reported, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service is overseeing the recall.

Customers who purchased the recalled product should dispose of it immediately or return it to their local Aldi for a refund. For questions, consumers can contact Rosina Food Products, Inc. at 1-888-767-4621 or email [email protected]. The recall highlights ongoing food safety challenges in the frozen food industry and the importance of consumer vigilance.
