Zoom Communications reported second-quarter revenue of $1.28 billion, a 4.9% year-over-year increase, beating analyst estimates of $1.27 billion. Profit surged to $1.54 billion, or $5.15 a share, compared with $358.6 million, or $1.16 a share, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share were $1.55, above the $1.48 consensus from analysts polled by FactSet.

Enterprise revenue rose 7.8% to $787.5 million, marking its strongest growth rate in three years, Chief Executive Eric Yuan said. Yuan highlighted that Zoom's artificial intelligence-focused portfolio continues to scale, driving annual recurring revenue expansion. He pointed to strong adoption of the company's AI virtual agent, which saw its customer count more than triple year over year.

For the full year, Zoom raised guidance to adjusted earnings per share of $6.08 to $6.12, up from $5.96 to $6 a share, and revenue of $5.09 billion to $5.1 billion, compared with a prior range of $5.08 billion to $5.09 billion. However, third-quarter adjusted earnings guidance of $1.46 to $1.48 fell short of the $1.50 analyst estimate, while revenue guidance of about $1.28 billion matched expectations.
