Chinese automaker XPeng has launched its new L03 sport-utility vehicle in Munich, marking its first global vehicle debut outside China and signaling an intensified push into European and international markets. This expansion comes as XPeng faces fierce domestic competition and slowing sales in its home market.

The L03 SUV is priced at €35,600 (approximately $40,800) for the battery-electric version in Germany, with the extended-range model starting at €38,600. In contrast, the vehicle is priced much lower in China, ranging from 123,800 to 156,800 yuan ($18,300 to $23,045).

Additionally, XPeng announced a collaboration with Google Maps for vehicles sold internationally. This partnership will integrate Google Maps directly into the vehicle's navigation system, eliminating the need for app downloads or smartphone mirroring. This move highlights XPeng's strategy to enhance its offerings for overseas consumers as Chinese automakers seek new growth avenues beyond their increasingly competitive domestic market.
