SK Hynix ADR Eyes August Listing, Kioxia Ups Targets, Vodafone Eyes TalkTalk Bid

SK Hynix eyes a U.S. listing through American depositary receipts that could trim the valuation gap with rival Micron. The move, slated for as early as August, would also slot the memory‑chip maker into the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, a benchmark followed by global passive funds. Analysts say the ADR could trigger a re‑rating, while the company projects 66 trillion won in operating profit for 2Q.

Kioxia Holdings boosted its medium‑term earnings outlook after its investor day, as Nomura analysts noted a shift into a NAND supercycle. The Japanese flash‑memory maker projected the NAND market to reach $450 billion in 2027 from $300 billion in 2026, and revealed multi‑year contracts. Nomura lifted the target price to 115,000 yen, while shares closed 7.8% lower at 70,500 yen.

A potential Vodafone bid for TalkTalk’s consumer broadband unit could benefit BT’s Openreach, Berenberg analysts said, noting that Vodafone’s stronger balance sheet would reduce lease‑fee risk for the U.K. operator. The deal would leave Openreach’s infrastructure untouched while strengthening its customer base. Vodafone and BT shares finished at £1.10 and £1.97 respectively today.
