SAP reported a 9.4% increase in second-quarter revenue, reaching 9.88 billion euros ($11.24 billion), driven by a robust performance in its cloud business, which saw a 22% surge in revenue to 6.28 billion euros. Despite these positive top-line results, the German software giant has lowered its operating profit guidance for the full fiscal year, signaling a sequential deceleration in growth. Analysts had anticipated 9.85 billion euros in total revenue and 6.26 billion euros in cloud revenue, with SAP exceeding these expectations.

Net income climbed to 7.23 billion euros from 6.62 billion euros year-over-year. Operating profit also saw an increase, rising to 2.64 billion euros from 2.46 billion euros, though the company's revised outlook suggests a tempering of future profit growth.
