Mondelez International has raised its financial outlook following a robust second quarter, bolstered by strong sales performance, particularly in the Latin America market. The company, known for brands like Oreo and Cadbury, now forecasts at least 2% growth in organic net revenue, an upward revision from its previous projection of flat to 2% growth.

This improved guidance reflects better-than-expected year-to-date results. Mondelez reported a second-quarter profit of $1.55 billion, or $1.20 per share. This marks a significant increase compared to the $641 million, or 49 cents per share, recorded in the same period last year. The company's shares saw a positive reaction in after-hours trading following the announcement.
