Expedia Group has raised its annual revenue outlook, now projecting between $16.05 billion and $16.22 billion, an increase from its prior forecast of $15.6 billion to $16.0 billion. This upward revision follows a strong second quarter, where the online travel agency reported a 14% jump in revenue to $4.32 billion, surpassing analysts' expectations of $4.17 billion.

Expedia's performance was bolstered by a 12% increase in total gross bookings and a 6% rise in booked room nights. The company also updated its full-year gross bookings growth forecast to 8% to 9%, up from the previously anticipated 6% to 8% growth. This positive outlook reflects the company's robust performance and increasing market demand in the travel sector, signaling confidence in continued expansion and profitability for the remainder of the fiscal year.
