EBay has raised its full-year financial outlook, citing the successful acquisition of Depop and a rise in second-quarter revenue. The online marketplace now anticipates gross merchandise volume (GMV) to increase by 11.5% to 12.5% in 2026. This revised forecast represents a significant upgrade from its previous projection of 7% to 7.5% growth.

GMV, which represents the total value of transactions conducted on EBay's platform, is a key indicator of the company's performance. EBay also indicated that revenue growth is expected to trail GMV growth by approximately half a percentage point. The company announced these updates on Wednesday.

Analysts, according to a Fact Set poll, had projected full-year GMV of $87.06 billion, equating to roughly 9.4% growth. They also anticipated revenue to rise by 9.7% to $12.18 billion.
