Korean Air Lines' 2026 operating profit could reach 1.731 trillion won, nearly double the 866.60 billion won market consensus, according to KB Securities analysts Kang Seong-jin and Kim Ji-yun. The 56% year-over-year jump is driven by stronger air cargo demand from the AI investment boom, making shippers less resistant to higher freight rates.

Meanwhile, Delivery Hero confirmed advanced discussions with Uber over a potential takeover. The talks follow Uber's international expansion, including its acquisition of chauffeur service Blacklane and Getir's delivery portfolio in Turkey. Delivery Hero operates in about 65 countries across Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

Delivery Hero shares surged nearly 6% to 39.10 euros on the news. Bloomberg reports Uber may strike a deal this week, valuing the German group well above its recent 36 euros per share price.
