Crown Holdings reported increased sales in its second quarter, driven by a 5% rise in global beverage can volumes. The company, a manufacturer of aluminum cans and aerosol containers, announced a net income of $245 million, or $2.23 per share, a significant jump from $181 million, or $1.56 per share, in the prior year.

Adjusted earnings per share reached $2.49, surpassing the $2.16 expected by analysts surveyed by Fact Set. Revenue also saw a substantial increase, climbing to $3.67 billion, exceeding the Fact Set consensus of $3.37 billion. This growth highlights strong demand in the beverage can market for Crown Holdings.
