Coca-Cola HBC reported a rise in net profit during its fiscal first half, driven by stronger organic volume growth. Volumes increased 7.5% organically to 1.57 billion unit cases, up from 1.46 billion in the prior period, reflecting robust demand across its core brands and the broader European bottling market.

The bottler, listed in London and Athens, said the sparkling segment grew 6.4% organically while the energy segment surged more than 26%. Revenue per case rose 1.9% organically to 3.96 euros ($4.57) from 3.84 euros, indicating pricing strength and improved margins despite a relatively stable cost base.

For the half ended July 3, net profit reached 524.4 million euros, compared with 470.6 million euros a year earlier. Pretax profit climbed to 723.3 million euros from 644.6 million euros, beating the company‑compiled consensus of 712.6 million euros, underscoring the earnings beat. The increase also reflected higher average selling prices and a favorable product mix.

The performance highlights the company's ability to grow through volume expansion rather than price cuts, a strategy that has helped it outpace peers in the European bottling market. Investors view the results as a positive signal for the remainder of the year, expecting continued margin improvement as the energy segment maintains its rapid momentum. Additionally, stronger demand in emerging markets contributed to the volume lift.
