Instead, the restaurant chain, owned by Brinker International, has focused its budget over the past two years on upgrading essential in-restaurant technology. Caldwell explained that this approach was chosen to fix a "broken experience" for both customers and workers, emphasizing the importance of reliable, basic technology.
