The telecommunications giant AT&T reported a 2.3% uptick in second‑quarter revenue, totaling $31.6 billion.

The lift came as more customers added postpaid phone and internet services, driving the company’s highest consumer postpaid wireless account growth in over three years. The quarter also marked a record for combined fiber and fixed‑wireless net additions, reinforcing the firm’s broadband strategy.

Earnings from continuing operations reached 66 cents a share, up from 62 cents a year earlier, while adjusted earnings per share hit 65 cents, surpassing the 59‑cent consensus estimate from Fact Set. These figures underscore AT&T’s ongoing shift toward subscription‑based services.

The data suggest that a steady stream of new and upgraded customers is sustaining the company’s revenue momentum, even as the broader telecom market continues to evolve.
