Air Liquide confirmed its guidance after first‑half revenue rose and its margin improved.

The French industrial‑gases company reported that revenue for the first half of 2026 rose 0.8% from the same period a year prior to 13.83 billion euros, equivalent to $15.71 billion. When excluding currency and energy impacts, revenue grew 4.3%, and on a comparable basis it increased 2.6%. The gas‑and‑services segment, which drives the majority of sales, posted a 2.6% comparable rise to 13.41 billion euros.

The company highlighted nearly €300 million in efficiency gains, boosting its operating margin by more than 1 percentage point to 20.9%. Air Liquide remains confident it can further lift its operating margin and sustain recurring net profit growth at constant exchange rates, underscoring its commitment to cost discipline and value creation.

These results reinforce the firm’s outlook for the full year, as it continues to leverage its core gas and services platform. The company’s focus on operational excellence and strategic investments is expected to drive long‑term shareholder value.
