U.S. stocks rose Friday as a surging Bitcoin and resilient crypto stocks lifted sentiment. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 517.80 points, or 0.98%, to 53,277.01, while the S&P 500 advanced 33.21 points, or 0.43%, to 7,674.37. The Nasdaq Composite added 113.29 points, or 0.43%, to 26,180.45.

Despite the gains, the S&P 500 posted its first weekly loss since late July. Treasury yields remained near their highest levels in over a decade, reflecting ongoing investor concerns about the U.S. fiscal position. Bitcoin rose 6% to over $77,000, marking its best weekly performance in more than two years.

The rally was driven by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's bond buyback announcement, President Trump's push for crypto-friendly legislation, and strong inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs. Major crypto-related stocks also surged, with Coinbase up 8.2%, Robinhood jumping 14%, and Strategy gaining 6.1%. Meanwhile, the dollar fell to its lowest level since May against a basket of currencies.

Long-term Treasury yields ended the week near their highest levels in over a decade, despite Bessent's buyback plans.
