Qatar Investment Authority and JPMorgan Asset Management announced a $20 billion partnership on Thursday. Under the agreement, JPMorgan Asset Management will oversee a customized portfolio of $15 billion invested across public equities. The remaining $5 billion will be allocated to private markets strategies managed by JPMorgan's alternatives platform.

The partnership deepens ties between the Gulf sovereign wealth fund and the largest U.S. bank by assets. QIA Chief Executive Officer Mansoor Ebrahim Al-Mahmoud said the collaboration aligns with the fund's strategy to diversify globally through trusted partners. JPMorgan Asset Management Global Head George Gatch noted the mandate reflects the firm's capability to deliver tailored institutional solutions.

The multi-asset structure aims to balance liquidity with long-term growth objectives across geographies and sectors.
