Kakao faces a valuation discount as Nomura’s Angela Hong notes slower monetization of AI features and stagnant e‑commerce growth. The South Korean mobile internet firm has added OpenAI’s Chat GPT and its own Kanana to Kakao Talk, yet user engagement remains flat. A partnership with Coupang Eats adds an AI‑powered chat tab, but it’s unclear whether users will order through Kakao instead of directly from Coupang. Nomura cuts the target price by 9% to 41,000 won while keeping a neutral rating; shares are up 3.9% at 39,800 won.

E.W. Scripps projects local political revenue of $225‑$250 million this year, buoyed by a record $28 million in political advertising and consolidated revenues of $490.4 million. Midterm races in Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, Nevada and Wisconsin are expected to lift local media revenue by about 20 % in Q3 versus 2025.

Mizuho notes Six Flags’ 2Q results were a “decent print.” Attendance grew 3.5 % on a same‑park basis, though same‑park EBITDA missed at $249 million amid park sales and closures. Six Flags stock fell 17 %.
